Good Video share time: Full Breaststroke under water



This video is showing a full stroke of breaststroke in under water.
Just 4 clear steps when you are swimming breaststroke:
1) float on the water with your body relax and line straight.

2) Do the hand stroke 1st, swim a "big circle", with a bit pull downward
to make sure you head move up to breath in, and make sure your chin is above
the water when opening your mouth to breath.
Just one remind, don't pull TOO downward as you need to float back to the original water surface position.

3) after breathing, the body will normally dropping into the water,
at this moment, you need to hold your breath, as this will help you floating on water and keep the balance, then you should follow by the breaststroke kick.

4) When your kicks finish, go back to the original position--- relax and line straight
at lease 2-3 seconds for your body to stream line, and this will help you save some energy. After the 3rd second, you should breath out 70-80% so you could do another circle begin with the drills and exchange air during breath-in again.

I may sketch the steps later for a better interpretation.

This video is easy to understand for breaststroke beginner!
When you are having the 1st swimming lesson, beginner may not easy to catch what is breaststroke kicks, and this video is showing how to do the breaststroke kicks in the daily environment. Beginners could practice when you are sitting on chair, lying on bed whatever makes you easy to catch the strokes. :)

你估下邊個會快D學識游水? 怕水女VS機械男 part 2

上回講到怕水Zoey如何克服對水o既畏懼,
今個星期繼續分享”機械男”Dave如何學放鬆...

Dave一D都唔怕水,但每次游水三下唔埋就沉落池底...
我示意他游D蛙式比我睇,佢第一下蛙式o既次序冇問題,
但第二下開始下潛,但第三下到了池底... 夠竟發生咩事?

好簡單...就係佢冇放鬆! Dave問: “夠竟咩叫放鬆?

明明我自己覺得放鬆o左喎...”
然後我示意他 “大字型”打開在水面浮,我發現佢雙腳下沉,
但上身浮在水面,之後我按一下他的小腿肌肉, 完全係實o既…

即係佢雙腳仍未放鬆!
之後不如轉一個更易明o既term o黎形容放鬆...

放鬆=唔用力

“唔用力”o既感覺應該唔難明,
更具體就係死屍“扒”o係張床度放鬆哂o既感覺...

*同學們好多時當伸直腳時唔記得自己腳踝"抅起"o左,令小腿肌肉拉緊.

*同學們有時克意伸直腳,但大腿至小腿"登"得太直,肌肉拉緊所以游兩下就沉...

圖3.正確示範"扮死屍":
*正確o既放鬆全個人冇用力大字形"扒"o係度,雙膝可以微微曲起,
總之令自己最relax o既狀態下浮起,之前有提過,"蔽氣"可令身體浮定在水面及保持平衡.

Dave終於明白過中道理,全個人懂得“唔用力”,
自自然可以游耐好多…

如掌握以上o既 “放鬆”方法,
可以更針對以下幾方面著手: 邊度同幾時 “唔用力”

1. 雙腳
2. 雙手
3. 蔽氣"timing

雙腳幾時 “唔用力”:

*游完每一下蛙式後,全個人都要伸直停下三秒唔用力,
有時雙腳雖然有伸直,但冇 “唔用力”,如此下去,小腿肌肉繼續繃緊的,
全個人都只會一下比一下沉...

雙手幾時 “唔用力”:

*不要依賴雙手太用力撳上o黎呼吸,因為向上動力大,
回彈力更大, 嘗試用頸及腰向上幫助呼吸,
手o既負擔減少,身體傾斜還原快些及穩定些.

"蔽氣"timing :

*當換完氣後可以試下先"蔽氣"令下沉o既身體先浮定,
腰部伸直令pat pat及雙腳浮回水平線位置才開始游第二下...
浮定後再游第三下,如此類推, 那樣才可以游得長久.

從前有兩個好想學游水o既人,
一個女的(暫叫Zoey 28歲)超怕水,
塊面碰到水便會"fing"左"fing"右,
好似要張全個泳池d水"fing"走哂為止...

令一個男的(暫叫Dave 33歲)唔怕水,
但游到好似機械人,
每游一步就用好多力上o黎換氣,
不出三步就沉到池底了...

你估下邊個會快D學識游水?

答案係....Zoey!
點解一個咩都由零開始o既Zoey會游得好過已經識DD o既Dave?
皆因唔識放鬆累事...唔攰就奇...

先講Zoey,與普遍大人學游水o既情況一樣,佢o係童年時曾經溺水,
這個是普遍成年人學游水心理障礙之一,
最重要係你有冇決心去學識佢,克服佢!
而教練o既角色係陪你一齊克服佢!鞭策你學識佢!

每個人都會對UNKNOWN o既o野恐懼,
好似我揸車怕停斜路,
特別o係上斜跑馬仔,唔知幾時先塞完...
但我知道越怕越出事, 所以同自己講:怕咩先?最多咪後流....
所以學游水最worse係咩?
咪"飲水"同"潛水",但呢兩樣o野好快可以K.O,咁重怕咩先?

"飲水"o既主因多是水中breathing唔正確,
"鼻吸鼻呼"或"鼻吸口呼",
全部用個"鼻"吸都一定出事,
我o地唔係大笨象唔駛用個鼻"飲水"o既...
跟我游, 第一堂頭10分鐘一定要掌握水中breathing同"蔽氣",
因為呢兩樣野會直接影響你"浮水"定"潛水"....
TO BE OR NOT TO BE....
變"機械人"定"浮水大怪獸"....就睇你喇.....


 可在家用小面盆練習

1.用口深吸一口氣
2.面放入水,合埋口,用鼻噴哂所有氣,感覺好似噴鼻涕一樣

當然...Zoey好快就變到"浮水大怪獸"啦! 佢好快明白原來d水"粒"過塊面都可以呼吸o既原理後,
成個人放鬆哂! 而"放鬆"就係學游水o既關鍵,
所以佢好快就游到一個25m橫池蛙式,
雖然係中池, 但佢一次都冇偷偷地企o係度!
以一個噤怕水o既女仔o黎講,好叻o家喇!
之後佢繼續跟我每星期游一日自己游一日,不出兩個月,
佢可以好放膽o係大池游到最少200m(即4個來回直池),
重學識埋踏水及其他water safety skills!

I m so proud of her!:)

C.S.P成人學游泳網誌終於開張了!





  C.S.P成人學游泳網誌終於開張了!
終於有時間同想學游水o既朋友多一個交流o既平台 :)

大家好!我係C.S.P Miss Lam ,
一個教o左游泳20幾年o既 swim coach!
近年至力於成人教學, 皆因大人學游水目標清晰, 想學咪學囉~
但去邊度學先得格?

咁就要睇下你學游水o既target同埋有幾想快d學識啦!
如果你o既學習理念同我o既教學方針相近,
不妨搵我o地幫手!

跟我學游水唔平,但學成後你可以慳好多錢同時間!
我成日抱住呢個信念去學野,你用最短o既時間學識,
之後你可以用無限o既時間自己練習,最初可能會有d辛苦,
但最後得益o既一定係你!

我o既學生大部份都係25-45歲在職人士,
佢o地o既target大多數享受生活為主, 中產o既朋友,生活壓力大,
學識游水係1st stepstone去下一個level,
可以join朋友出海wake boarding,去 Big Barrier Reef diving,
或去Maldives snorkeling,多一個人生享受o既段落,何樂而不為?

以後我會分享一些學生o既case study,可能你都有遇到以上o既問題!
